TGOD SYNOPSIS, OR: THE VAPORWARE TRAUMATIZED ELF GENERATIONAL EPIC

- once upon a time the deep dysfunction of a family of hick elves rippled out to destroy thousands of lives over the course of a literal millennium, until one of their descendants cussed out the Trauma Elemental so hard the plot was solved.

 

- ok this is very reductionist. but. story arcs

 

I: a pact made in blood

- this is about rennuid’s parents and why they Are The Way They Are

- in short: traumatized veterans who never really knew how to deal with their shit 

 

II: something wonderful and strange

- rennuid’s childhood, and the advent of the cult

- rennuid is like Elf 14 when he and allegory meet and allegory is given a metaphysical ‘in’ to the tathviel family

- allegory will insist that a lot of the ideas of things it does were rennuid’s idea, first; the act of calling it a god, the desire to bring more people to gorfuin, the fucked up relationship

- it feeds off of rennuid’s fate enough to bind the two of them together irreparably, and then feeds off of the fates of the cultists, to the point of some dying. it was able to ‘seal’ fates so that people wouldn’t even think of leaving.

- rennuid didn’t comprehend the malicious fate sealing shit

III: the beast, as it follows

- gllchk, and how a knight from an isolationist land ended up at a podunk temple in the middle of the woods.

- gllchk takes one look at this shit and is like damn.... fucked up

- he talks to people, and unseals the fates of the cultists one by own. people leave

- when he finally is able to rub rennuid’s face into the truth of what’s been happening here, rennuid lets him into the inner sanctum of the temple to confront allegory.

- the killing of Allegory, and the beginning of the curse

 

IV: the faceless town

- the early parts of gllchk and rennuid’s travels

- MOTHERFUCKIN’ MIA HALLOWMARK!!!!!!

- mia is the former marquis of hallowmark march who was turned to stone by the machinations of her brother, her soul imprisoned in her own castle. her bro has been ruling over a sham town propped up by an evil fairy.

- she super stabs the bro but is stuck as an animate statue forever.

- she would like to go talk to the king about this whole situation so she leaves the ruins of her land with gllchk and rennuid

V: mirror of senosperri

- gllchk, mia, and rennuid’s travels.

- rennuid’s failing health, the dipshit stuff he does about it. 

- he gets a weird mirror that shows him other worlds, choices, and possibilities. he ends up using it in an addictive fashion as escapism from his problems.

- he lets go of the mirror eventually but boy the road there is rocky.
- the theme of this story is LOVE AND SUPPORT!!!!

 

VI: the widow buries her youngest

- gg

- yeah rennuid like, dies. and this arc is largely about the creeping realization that Something Is Beginning To Be Wrong With Other Tathviels (it's allegory's wrath slowly searing through everyone one by one).

- gllchk and mia part ways as gllchk returns rennuid’s remains to his family in aldua’denac.

 

VII: the grand bunny ballet

- this is a time skip and about people we knew nothing / very little about before

- mia is also here. anyway this is about the kinen, the kinda creepy furries in tgod setting that are obligated to gnaw on memories to survive. i want to not just jump immediately timeline wise to the fallout of the curse situation and to just let it build. there ARE tathviel descendants that are relevant but they’re not the focus. if they were the focus it would be kind of dire because a lot of bad things are happening slightly out of focus.

 

VIII: a prayer for life

- WHO’S READY FOR YLMAUT THE LIFEDRINKERRRR MY EEEVIL WIFE

- a tathviel descendant who decided to stop the curse from killing her family by any goddamn means. this is about all the bullshit she did to try and do that. 

- she DID succeed except her method requires Literal Blood Sacrifice

- she did nothing wrong except for all the murders. of which there were many

- she is aesaelion’s great aunt
- she is the evil witch at the end of a permadeath game and we love her for it

 

IX: devil’s missive

- this is aesaelion’s parents!! that’s right! we’re mirroring rennuid’s deal by exploring this guy’s parents as a pair first too! 

- the day she meets her future husband, sona dewprism is visited by a strange devil*, that tells her she will have a son who could end the world.

-* sona calls this a devil but it's not

 

- her squirrely love interest doesn’t tell her about the whole family curse thing

- then their first kid is born and she is born sick from the curse and he confesses

- WELP

- they give their daughter to The Font, a monastery renowned for being built on a source of healing waters

 

- when sona has a second baby who is also sick she secretly writes to YLMAUT THE LIFEDRINKER to help their kid not be turbo cursed to death, behind her husband’s back
- ylmaut gladly helps :)

- anyway sona has had two daughters so like, guess that was bullshit. 

 

 

- the transgender agenda walking in like tom the cat in a hat

 

X: cursebreakers

- finally.... aesaelion tathviel... the main character of tgod....

- it’s also about his sister rathael

- adventures and also a really heartwrenching yuri vn in there about rathael and a human gf and the ensuing lifespan mismatch problems

 

- aesaelion contacts rathael after finding out she even exists, but she turns him away at first

- he finds out that people that know his family name do not want him around mainly because of YLMAUT THE LIFEDRINKER, my problematic fav, a tathviel that also tried to stop their family from dying tragically young in a way that was violent and loud and murdery

-eventually rathael starts talking to him (through letters. she can’t leave the fount). its heartwarming

 

- aesaelion revives rennuid’s goofy lil ass from the dead because he’s holding so much lore

- rennuid and mia reunion. just for me. remember, mia is a statue forever. everyone else he ever knew and loved (other than allegory) are dead.

 

- eventually allegory’s freaky vile remnants coax rennuid to form Revelation and we have a cool mind palace final dungeon. i just think Revelation should get to be canon. he’s one of my coolest designs

 

- literally there cannot be any other stories in The TGod Setting chronologically after this because the tyranny of meaning and fate over this family has been abolished
